Katrina Sweeny is a warm and very experienced clinician who has a passion for working with children, young people, their carers and families to draw out strengths in a nurturing and welcoming therapeutic space.

Katrina is knowledgeable in a wide range of assessments and treatment planning across cognitive and learning difficulties, developmental challenges, neurodiversity, and mental health concerns experienced by people across the lifespan. She is also a certified trainer for parenting education courses in emotion coaching and anxiety management: enhancing the skills and confidence of adults in their vital role supporting young people.

Katrina is currently extending her knowledge and practice in trauma-based therapies, particularly EMDR, addressing complex presentations with people of all ages.

Outside work, she enjoys the balance of time in nature, creative pursuits and deepening connections with family and friends.
