Senior Clinical Psychologist

Dr Nicole Reece has completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology, specialising in mental health, and has been practising since 2008. She has experience in a wide variety of settings including community, private, academic and inpatient environments. While Nicole has expertise in early psychosis and complex mental health interventions, she has a broad range of clinical interests and skills. Nicole is also passionate about working with sexuality, gender and identity.

Dr Reece has expertise in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Supportive Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and psychodynamic approaches, including Schema Based Therapy and Conversational Model.

Dr Reece believes strongly in working together to explore and understand her patients’ life and will endeavour to provide flexible individualised treatment to suit client needs (because no one fits in a box!).

Apart from having a healthy curiosity about the minds of others, Nicole enjoys all things food, travel, playing soccer, and whatever might take her outside for camping and coastal adventures.
