Dr Cyriac Mathew

Dr Cyriac Mathew has many years of experience ensuring quality care of people affected by various mental illnesses, including assessment, medical management and psychosocial interventions.

Dr Mathew is actively involved in teaching and demonstrating the clinical skills such as Clinical Interview, Mental State Examination, Diagnosis and formulation and implementing appropriate management strategies to medical students, psychiatric registrars and allied mental health professionals. Dr Mathew is committed to implementing the most recent developments and evidence based practices.

Dr Mathew is a member of a core research group within NMHS. Current projects include, Insight and Psychosis and metabolic complications of atypical antipsychotic drugs. He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and presented papers in a range of international and scientific conferences.
