Stephan Neuwerk

Stephan Neuwerk is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with 16 years post-graduate experience, having practised in Germany, New Zealand, and Australia. His career has spanned a variety of roles, from working in high-end medical institutions to private practice and community services, providing comprehensive care for clients dealing with severe chronic diseases, chronic pain, and a wide range of mental health conditions.

A significant part of Stephan’s work has focused on the intersection of psychology and physical health, where he has supported individuals with complex medical conditions, such as organ transplants and life-limiting illnesses. The other part of his career has involved providing care across general mental health, addressing issues such as grief, perinatal and postnatal depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and emotional dysregulation.

With a hands-on, evidence-based approach, Stephan utilises EMDR, systemic therapy, CBT, and clinical hypnosis, tailoring his interventions to meet each client’s unique needs.
