Freya is a clinical psychologist and has been practicing for the last 5 years across various roles in the public health sector. Freya is experienced in working with complex and persistent mental health presentations in child and adolescents. Freya is also experienced in working with a diverse range of presentations and age ranges.

Freya brings a warm, empathic and collaborative energy to the therapeutic space. She has been successful in helping clients improve their mental health and enjoys providing evidence-based practice in an accessible and easy-going manner.

Freya particularly enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults across anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, OCD, trauma, emotional dysregulation, adjustment difficulties, substance use disorders, parenting difficulties, behaviour issues, and body image concerns. Freya utilises a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders (FBT), Motivational Interviewing and Circle of Security.

Outside of her work, Freya loves spending quality time with her family and will take any opportunity to visit the beach and enjoy nature.
