EDUCARE offers adult clients specialised medical and psychological professional help. Highly experienced psychiatrists as well as clinical and consulting psychologists are attuned to identifying and treating a full range of issues often encountered in adult life that impact upon well-being and functionality.
The initial interviews are generally between 50 and 90 minutes duration and allow your therapist to gather detailed assessment information.
After the assessment a plan for therapy is drafted in conjunction with you, pinpointing goals for treatment and outlining the treatment program. Your consultant will carefully explain the program and will answer any questions you may have.
Periodically during therapy, reviews of progress will be made by your consultant to make adjustments where necessary.
In general, therapy involves approximately 6 to 10, one-hour sessions, weekly. The length of treatment and individual sessions will vary according to the nature of your problem and the type of specialised exercises that may be assigned.
