Kimberly is a warm and compassionate therapist, who aims to foster a therapeutic relationship of mutual respect and honesty. Her approach is evidence-based, collaborative, supportive, and is adapted to individual needs.
Kimberly completed a Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Sydney in 2009 and went on to complete both a Graduate Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology, and she is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Autism Diagnosis through the University of Western Australia. Kimberly is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and Medicare and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
Kimberly has worked as a School Counsellor as well as a psychologist within private practice. She has experience working closely with children, adolescents and young adults who have additional learning, developmental and/or sensory processing needs, helping them to find ways to manage their feelings (emotional regulation) and improve their relationships with others.
Kimberly is trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness along with others. She is a certified Cool Kids Anxiety program provider. The Cool Kids Program is a world-renowned skills-based program that teaches children and adolescents and their parent(s) how to better manage anxiety. Kimberly also has experience working with individuals who are suffering with a low mood and clinical depression.
