Dr Samantha Haines completed her training in Clinical Psychology in Auckland, New Zealand. Her research focus was in the area of deliberate fire lighting. Samantha has experience working in child and adolescent community mental health, hospital, forensic, and academic settings within New Zealand and Australia.

Samantha has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and families. This includes assessment and intervention for depression, a wide variety of anxiety related difficulties (e.g., worry, panic, social skills), eating disorders, grief, parenting support, behavioural management, learning difficulties, and autism. Samantha has also worked with adults for mood related issues, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, and difficulties adjusting to changes in their life or identity. Samantha is committed to providing an individualised assessment and treatment plan that is both based on current research and is the best fit for the client.
